World water color month day 9 Climbing Mountains

Day 9 Climbing mountains. I decided to draw a mountain that I used to climb in my hometown. I haven't seen this mountain since 1995 when I was there for my 10th high school reunion. I had to google a photo of it. Thumb Butte in Prescott National Forest. I do miss seeing mountains. Not a lot of mountains in the midwest farming country. I guess the farmers would say, that is a good thing

You can read more about the hiking trail I used to hike HERE.

  1. What a great image MariLynn, and I love how you show the development of your final picture. Pity about the 'lack' of mountains in your area. :-)

    1. Thank you Maxine. I do wish my boys could see what mountains really look like. There are slight hills and bluffs that overlook the Mississippi river not to far from our house, but really mountains.
