Crafting by designs Christmas

Crafting by Designs:

We have a fabulous sponsor:

Prize - $15 gift certificate to the shop

I really struggled with this Christmas paper because I only have a black and white printer. I ended up zooming in really close to the roses and pinecones. I printed it all on one 8x10 piece of cardstock that I then cut into 4 pieces and watercolored them. then I made 4 different projects. None of them were specifically Christmas, but I tried to make them about God. to me that is what Christmas is all about God with us Emanuel.

I printed the two little mice and watercolored them. I scored the panel. I added 3 little alphabet tiles to spell out MOM. This is the card I gave my daughter for Mother's Day. She is mom to a 2 1/2 year old and a brand new baby. She is a good mom.

Mono printed- Bible Mapping Bookmarks

I made these bookmarks for the small group of ladies at my church that gathered for Bible Study in the month of April. I took pieces of mono printed cardstock. I die cut the tags using.
I stamped the silhouette butterfly from
and I stamped the flowers from
On the back of each one I wrote the steps for bible mapping that was shared
by my good friend Diane Nobel.
 Those steps are:
1.Verse- Write it, Say it
2. Versions- 2-3  and a paraphrase
3. Wordwork- Greek and Hebrew
4. Framework- Context
5. Connect- Cross reference
6. Purpose & Pray-  Apply
7. Truth?
8. Illustrate- Get Creative.

I finished the off with a little rhinestone in the corner and purple embroidery floss.

2019 Spring Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop mono printed mini card

Time for another Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

My card looks big here but it is a little 3"x3'" card. I got this inkadinkado stamp from a previous hop. I might have used it one or two times. The other day when cleaning my stamp room I saw it and thought it would be fun to play with some of my monoprinted papers. I had originally thought that I would water color the little cup with blues but when I fussy cut it out of white I liked it how it was. This will probably be my only entry to the blog hop this time because I have a little grandbaby on the way and she could be here any day now. I plan on going to be with my daughter. I am hoping while at my daughter's house to finally meet up with one of my stamping friends. We have talked about getting together for coffee. Wouldn't this little card with some kind of stamping goodies but fun to take to that meeting?
