I had some coffee goodies that I think I won from the first Coffee Lovers Bloghop. I decided to use them today. I am not much of a sticker person. That is why they have been in my stash for so long.

I cut the tag out of 4 layers of cardstock, 5 by the time I added the framed tea cups. All glued together. I added a layer of glue over the top so it is really sturdy and should hold up well as a key chain. I used white and gold acrylic paint for the highlights and rims of the cups.

and
stmp1082.jpeg

I used velcro dots to hold the box together. I made an origami lid that I decorated with handmade purple and yellow roses to match the dp that I used.

Spring Summer Coffee Lovers Bloghop project #3 coffee tag

My 3rd project for the

SheryRuss_AnywhereTheresCoffee-preview

Bottom layer of the tag is a coffee cup that I turned to porcelain paper with Aleenes tacky glue.

I won these little donut and coffee cup paper clips during a previous
coffee lovers bloghop. I took the paper clips and opened them up and using pliers, I made them into little charms.  The beads are from a pair of
sandals that I had worn out. Before I threw the shoes away I cut the beads off. I think they made the perfect spacers for this multi layered tag.
If you were inspired by my project and want to get this great set for yourself, You can use this discount code at checkout at STAMPlorations for 20% off.

Porcelain Paper Butterfly Coffee Mug Tags

29541159_10216244462694822_8004581139974979584_n
I am back with my second project for day 2 of the

I made this coffee mug layered tag with a porcelain paper butterfly.
I started by stamping the mug onto rose patterned paper.

 preview-TheBeesKnees-WinterMug
I colored the "gaps" on the cup with copper ink pen. I added highlights with white acrylic paint and I took a brown marker to color the "coffee" in the cup.
I stamped the mug 3 more times on white cardstock and glued all the layers together so that it has sturdiness.
I next stamped butterfly from

SheryRuss_ButterflyRow2x6-preview
I colored and fussy cut the butterfly on the left. I stamped it 3 more times on white cardstock and 1 more time on black cardstock. I then flooded the top with Aleene's tacky glue. It took several hours to dry. So I had to be patient and drink several cups of coffee while I waited.

While I waited for it to dry, I used
preview-nestingtags1
to cut out some tags. One of white cardstock and one from the scraps left over from the cup.
I stamped  sentiment on white cardstock using

SheryRuss_AnywhereTheresCoffee-preview

The tags are layered on top of the mug. I punched a hole in the mug and tied all the tags to the mug with twine.

Coffee Lovers Bloghop Stacked Tea Cups

29541159_10216244462694822_8004581139974979584_n
Here is my first  project for the

I made a little porcelain paper pin.

I used

STAMPlorations

 preview-framedteacups

I stamped on floral dp and fussy cut the cups out.
Then I put drops of glue on my acetate folder to hold the pieces down. Then I "flooded" the pieces with Aleene's tacky glue. This is a fun technique to do but you have to have  ton of patience. This project took 12 hrs to complete.

While the individual cups were drying,I worked on the base of the pin.  I stamped the image again onto white cardstock 3 times and onto black once. I fussy cut them out and glued the 3 white layers to the black one, with the black one on the bottom. That is so that it has a finished looking back. When the individual cups dried, I glued them to the base. I "trimed" each cup with gold acrylic paint.  For the back of the pin, I took just a plain safety pin and put strips of black  cardstock over it to hold it to the base.

I really like how the gold paint finished the pin off.

Here is a photo of me wearing the pin.

I am going to give a stacked teacup pin to one of the people who leaves a comment on this post.  If you would like to order this stamp or any other STAMPlorations stamp, you can use the discount code below when checking out.
