Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #14

The Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge #14 was from
Galatians 6:9
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
We were to make a thanksgiving card. The story behind this card starts with the cornicopia sticker. On Sunday we had a thanksgiving fellowship meal at church. Our senior pastor's wife worked so hard getting everything ready. She had everything thing decorated so nicely. She had these stickers on the placemats. When my kids saw them, they all looked at me and said that they knew that I was going to make a card out of them. When I read the inspiration verse, it made me think of my kids. I was very proud of them on Sunday, because when all the other teenagers ate the food and then went to play, my 3 oldest kids were in the kitchen washing dishes. In past years the ones washing the dishes have been the elderly ladies at the church. I talked with my kids in the morning about how it wasn't right that the older ladies to have to do the work. Our pastor's wife in particular has been having a hard time with pain in her knees. I was proud that they helped. I hope that they will continue to DO GOOD. After the meal, when we were all cleaning up, I went around and rescued the stickers before the placemats went into the trash. I plan on giving this repurposed card to my pastor's wife to thank her for all the hard work she did getting the meal together.
