Coffee Lovers Blog hop Rainbow cup

Image may contain: text

Time again for another fun Coffee Lovers Blog Hop.

I had fun making this splatter card with water color paint. I stamped
STAMPlorations Coffee Pot Row

I splattered paint on the cardstock with  a medicine syringe.
I used a scrap piece to cut out
CUTplorations Coffee word die

I scored the edges to make a frame and added the splattered panel. On the inside I used STAMPlorations Winter Mug

I water colored the mug and splattered it with the paint. I then fussy cut it and put it on a pop up mechanism. When you open the card it looks like it is floating in mid air.

Worship Wednesday Mark 16:4 and 6

Worship Wednesday Mark 16:4 and 6.  I didn't journal  worship Wednesday last week because I was taking care of my grandchildren. We did worship in the park picking up leaves and talking about how God made the leaves and what a blessing it was that he made them change color. This week I am back to journaling.

I heard this song on the radio this last Sunday and knew that I wanted to use it for a journaled page. I used Mark 16:4 and 6.

I just got this set from STAMPlorations. (Thank you Shery)  I thought the one circular mark looked like a stone.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop Card #2

Image may contain: text

Time again for another fun Coffee Lovers Blog Hop. I had a lot of fun making this mixed media card. I started by making the background. I used:

 ARTplorations stencils called AUTUMN FALLING.

I used my gel plate and acrylic paints along with the stencil to make this multi layered  monotype. I have a tutorial on STAMPlorations on a similar monotype using AUTUMN FALLING. You can see that HERE

I stamped STAMPlorations WINTER MUG
preview-TheBeesKnees-WinterMug
I then water colored it and cut it out. I splattered white acrylic paint and highlighted with a white gel pen. I think this mug might have something with pumpkin spice in it, so I quilled a little pumpkin to go along with it.

 ARTplorations stencils called AUTUMN FALLING.

And

I used my gel plate and acrylic paints along with the stencils to make this multi layered  monotype. I used pink with blues and traditional colors of fall reds, yellow, greens, browns... I was actually just playing around but I really like how the end result was. Can you see the leaves and flowers layered over eachother. The clearest flower I think is right over the cups. I have a tutorial on STAMPlorations on a similar monotype using AUTUMN FALLING. You can see that HERE

I water colored them and fussy cut them out. I hand lettered the sentiment. For a year I have been practicing my own hand lettering. I still have a long way to go but I like how this turned out.

November Stencil Challenge - STAMPlorations -Doodled leaves bookmarks

preview-web-stencil-autumn-falling

I used the Autumn Falling Stencil with my gel plate. I did several layers to get this look.

I drew lines between the leaves to make sections.
Then with a black ink pen and a white gel pen I doodled in the sections.

After I had doodled all the sections I added stitching to the leaves.

Then I cut the panel up and made two bookmarks.
