What could be more fun than making a butterfly card? Getting to use a new set. This set will be released soon by Mark's Finest Papers. It is called Nature's Postage. I colored the butterfly and flower using prisma colored pencils. The butterfly was stamped twice. I cut out one and layered it for dimension. I stitched around the panels. I made this card into an easel card. I covered the bottom with a lace panel. I colored the center of the flower with gold smooch.
This is beautiful, and I love that smooch on the flower centre, it created a marvelous focal point and gives the whole image amazing dimension.
