Today is your last chance to win an extra prize.
For my project today I had some designer paper on my desk. If you follow my blog for any length of time you will see how seldom I use designer paper, but this piece was so pretty. It reminded me of sunflowers. I also happened to have a packet of sunflower seeds.

I started by taking a kraft colored envelope and sealing it shut.

I then took my paper cutter and cut the envelop into 2 pieces. I used one of the corners to make my pocket on my card.

I wanted there to be pretty inside the envelope when you pulled the seeds out so I stamped
on the piece of yellow designer paper that is behind the pocket.

If you scroll up and look at the first photo in this post you will see that on the packet of sunflower seeds, there was a bright yellow price on the top right hand corner. It didn't really match the paler and more subtle yellow of the designer paper. So I added my butterfly to cover it up. And of course the inside needed a butterfly too.

I stamped the butterfly several times. I only colored the right wing because that was all I was going to use. (Of course the left sides that I didn't use I saved for another time.)

I then fussy cut the right wings of the butterflies and the bodies out.

Then I glued two wings on top of eachother to make the "half" butterfly.

I hope you have been inspired by my spring fling project. Remember to comment on the featured blogs to win that day's prize. There is one other way that you can be a winner. Shery has a SPRING FLING section at STAMPlorations where the product is automatically 25% off. Isn't that great? But it gets even better. If you use my design team code, below, you will get an additional 20% off. That is a total of 45 % off for product in that section.
