It's about TIME

This week it is my friend Sandie's turn to be the hostess. She picked  Eccl. 3: parts of 1-8 as the scripture to meditate on.
1 To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven:
A time to be born,
    And a time to die;
A time to plant,
    And a time to pluck what is planted;
A time to kill,
    And a time to heal;
A time to break down,
    And a time to build up;
A time to weep,
    And a time to laugh;
A time to mourn,
    And a time to dance;
A time to cast away stones,
    And a time to gather stones;
A time to embrace,
    And a time to refrain from embracing;
A time to gain,
    And a time to lose;
A time to keep,
    And a time to throw away;
A time to tear,
    And a time to sew;
A time to keep silence,
    And a time to speak;
A time to love,
    And a time to hate;
A time of war,
    And a time of peace.
Her challenge is about Time. Use clocks/watches, calendars, sundials, etc. OR black and white only (to represent night and day).

For my card I was thinking about the passage of time and wanted to go for a vintage look. I used my new Mark's Finest Papers crackled background, and butterfly from the newly released set called Cracked Hello. The car, clock and sentiment are from a Tim Holtz set. I added lace, pearls, jewels and roses to add to the vintage look.

I wanted to share with you a poem about time that I read this week.
During all the years since time began,
Today has been the friend of man.
But in his blindness and his sorrow,
He looks to yesterday and tomorrow.
Forget past trials and your sorrow
There WAS, but is no yesterday
and there may be no tomorrow.

I'm praying that you are taking time to enjoy TODAY, praise God TODAY, share love TODAY.
