Mark's Finest
This last week I saw a card that had a pretzel knot on it. I went to youtube and learned how to tie a pretzel knot. It took me several hours and lots of attempts to get it down, but I think it was worth it when I put it on my card for today. I have several extra knots that I would like to share. I am going to randomly pick 4 of the comments that I receive on today's post to win those extra knots. I will post the winners on my post for day 4 of the MFP blog hop.
Close up view of the pretzel knotAnother card that I made as a sneak peek. I just tied regular knots on the twine on this card.
This song just seems to go with this card. Such a happy feeling to it.
I am going to enter this card in the Word Art Wednesday challenge.
Great cards and knots
ReplyDeleteLove your knot MariLynn - but the cards are both really special!!

ReplyDeleteI appreciate all the detail on your card...the pretzel knot is great and the light streaming from the lighthouse...perfect.

Wow! Beautiful work on your cards and the knot is fabulous. That will be a great win for someone for using on masculine cards. Your skies are so pretty.
ReplyDeleteThese are 2 beauties Marilynn - I like the look & coloring of both of them-just reminds me of the Outer Banks-this is also a great pretzel knot
ReplyDeleteHow cool...I love that you learn something new to share with us...great job
ReplyDeleteWow on the knots. I think I used to know how to do those. Hmmmmm....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards, beautiful coloring.
ReplyDeleteThe knots are fabulous additions!!
ReplyDeleteLike the nautical feel. The knots are wonderful texture. I'm a Jimmy Buffet fan. Grew up E coast of FL and went to many concerts when Jimmy Buffet was the warm up for the main concert performance and then saw him when he got even more popular. Thanks for giveaway chance.
