I had fun this Monday afternoon making this grungy mixed media Valentine.
I incorporated several challenges into my card.
I took a page from STAMPlorations Colorbook:
I used stamps from two STAMPlorations Sets:
and
I water colored the flowers with a variety of peach and pink markers. I ink spray smashed a sheet of white cardstock using the markers that I water colored the flowers and added 3 shades of gray markers to make the background. I also stamped the netting and music notes.I fussy cut the heart out. I went around the edge with a gray marker. I also used some champagne paint. It gave it a little bit of sparkle. I wanted even more sparkle so I added Wink of Stella Gold to the centers of the flowers. I had some ribbon that looked like it would go, but it was really wide, so I cut it down and frayed the edges. I think it goes along with my GRUNGE look.
I am entering this in the following challenges:
Amazing techniques which turned into a fabulous card. Great job. I enjoyed visiting your blog. pjs-projects.blogspot.com
