I want to tell you a little bit about my projects this month. My daughter just graduated from college and is blessed to have a job teaching and running a high school library. As a way to encourage her students I am making her bookmarks that she can use as "raffle" prizes. So all my projects this month are bookmarks. I also made them all from paint chip samples that had been in my stash of paper for several years. To me art has a personal connection. These bookmarks share a little bit about who I am.

For my bookmark today I used MFP set called
DAFFODIL GREETINGS

AND
ANIMALS BIRTHDAYS

I featured the butterflies from this set. Fall means time to
tag Monarch butterflies through our local conservation group.
We haven't done it the past few years, but when my kids were little we all enjoyed going out, catching the butterflies and tagging them. It was a really fun activity to do in early fall.

  3. Marilynn, your card is so pretty with the purple background with the cheesecloth. The butterflies are colored perfectly. Your card really matches the picture very well. Have a great day.

  9. I love that you used paint chips and cheesecloth on your beautiful bookmark. This is almost too gorgeous to hide inside a book!
