Our March New Release Mini:
Brick Wall
I masked the mountain image and stamped it 3 times. I grew up in Arizona and loved seeing the mountains and desert in the springtime. I love where I live now, but not very many mountains in Iowa. Some hills maybe, but not mountains. When I was growing up I loved hiking Thumb Butte in Prescott, AZ. If you would like to see that mountain, you can look at these photos that I found online
I printed Psalm 121:1-2 to put with the mountain and cacti image.
I love this song by Casting Crowns. It has Psalm 121:1-2 in it towards the end. I hope you are blessed by it.
Awesome work with beautiful background coloring. I lived in Phoenix for a year and cried when I left (after fighting to NOT go to Arizona!!!). Unless you've seen an Arizona sunset or sunrise, you just can't even imagine the beauty which you've captured in your cards, Marilyn!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cards. I love the mountains and the colours used.
ReplyDeleteI love the faux stitching and the sun rising over the mtns.
ReplyDeleteWonderful creations, MariLynn. Those Arizona mountains must be a beautiful sight.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards. I've never been to Arizona ... lived in CT all my life so I know water not mountains.

I love Casting Crowns so I'm enjoying listening while writing this! That first card is really neat - I like how it looks like a painting on an easel - might not have been your intention but it's cool. And very wonderful use of scripture on the second card.
