I will be the first to admit that Halloween cards are hard for me to make. I don't celebrate Halloween, so it is hard to make cards to give away. I did enjoy how my sky looks in this card. This is a sneak peek of a set to be released next month by Mark's Finest Papers called Broom Rides. My oldest daughter and I both agreed that our favorite stamp in this set is the tree.
I too dislike Halloween, and so not have anything to do with it - I do give tracts to and pray for any who call at the door, which gets to some kids!
ReplyDeleteYour sky looks awesome :-)

I have been following your blog and love the technique you have been using for background using the markers, water and acetate folders - I tried it last night and mine looks nothing like yours!! I get lots of white splotches as the watered marker clumps when I open the folder (after smooshing)to place my card inside - any idea what I could be doing wrong? Yours looks so full and wonderfully blended!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog Marilyn and all the tutorials...Now that my friend Shirley has had her pain taken away, I will have more time now to play. You have a lot of neat things on here to try.
ReplyDeleteI love your music too....How do you put that on your blog.....
I'm under Irish on this (Google), but this is you SCS friend, foxy67 (Pat)
Nice design on this MariLynn! I don't celebrate Halloween either, but this turned out great :o)
