It is STAMPlorations' 8th Birthday Celebration. Today is DAY 2 of the celebration.
All the designers featured today will be showing you:
Which includes:
Blossom Sprays #5
See the Good
Design Blox #6
Art Border Die #2
I used Blossom Sprays #5 on kraft and watercolored it. I wrote a handwritten sentiment. This is going to my friend who lost her husband recently.
Recently I joined a weight loss group. I thought it would be fun to use the Blossom Sprays #5 to make encouragement cards. This is how they looked but then I thought they needed just a little something more.... Butterflies.
My grandson Noah and I have been telling eachother puns to make the other one smile. I thought he would like this one. I used the design blox #6. I traced it and watercolored orange and blue. I then used colored pencils to doodle over the orange areas. I then hand wrote the pun. I have decided against sending this to him because when I told him the pun over the phone he got upset and didn't like that it was making fun of his name. My dad said that 1/2 of puns are PU. I guess he was correct.

ReplyDeleteLove all these projects MariLynn - and I got the pun - that was a good one, despite Noah not appreciating it. Loving the wee cards you gave to your weight-loss buddies. The two cards are beautiful. Great use of the stamp :)
