Spring Blog Hop and Linky party

Welcome to the Spring Blog Hop and Linky Party for STAMPlorations

Two times I tried to type Spring Blog HopE instead of Hop. I guess that is because it is still really cold at my house. I have neighbors who still have their heat on. We had one day in the last 3 weeks that was 85 degrees then the rest have been so cold. On Sunday as we were making our way to church for Mother's day service, it was 39 degrees. So I have HOPE that spring is coming soon. Until then I can enjoy beautiful cards with flowers. This card that I am sharing was a quick card. It took me less than 10 minutes to make. I used The QUICK CARDS #3 SPRING FLORALS and CUTplorations Hello Word Die

I picked the colors from these flowers and I water colored the word die "hello"

The card front only touches the card at the bottom and it is folded twice to make it an easel card.

How it looked closed.

  2. Fab easel card, MariLynn! Love the purple and how you watercolored the sentiment die and layered it slightly askew, I like to do that too, lol. Hey, I just read your About and 2 things: McGyver is one of my all-time contemporary heroes, loved that show. AND, I was born in Blytheville, right across the river from you. My cousins lived in Memphis for many years and one still lives in Walls, MS. Small world! I was surprised to read how cold it's been for y'all. I need to call my cousin and catch up. XOX

  3. Wow - love that card front, and how you added the diecut sentiment, colouring it match perfectly.
We are heading into winter - with vengeance at the moment... cold and wet - to be expected, but it seems so harsh after a long and warm autumn
    Stay safe
    Blessings
