ColoriQue projects

I die cut a Pepsi can in the shape of a star.  I then ran it through my cuttlebug in an embossing folder

I then poured out some  Clearsnap ColoriQue paint. Because it was kinda "watery" I wasn't sure how it was going to go onto metal that didn't need to have any primer. I was surprised at how well it went on.

I added light colors first

After I had all the colors on I added just a little bit of black to give it an antiqued look. I then used a heat gun to heat set the paint.

I wanted to see how much coverage the paint would do because it was thin. I painted the ""Pepsi"
side of the can. You can that none of the original colors show through.

I also used the paint on some rocks that I found in my yard. I wire wrapped them when I was done.
Just a hint... when heat setting rocks, they hold the heat a lot longer than the metal does... don't ask how I came up with this hint.

  1. Well, you certainly are clever and a great way to recycle too. I love the adornments you made.
