I know it has been awhile since I last posted, but a move and other circumstances have made the past few months a bit stressful and crafting took a back seat to life. Hopefully now that I am settling in I will have more time to craft and share. I am so excited that STAMPlorations has new series of scripture stamps called "TYPOGRAFIA in faith"
I am sharing a couple of projects that I made using these new stamps.
The first project used:
I painted a board with light blue paint and used Hidden Hearts stencil
and added dark blue and green paint. I stamped the butterfly and painted it. I stamped the scripture to the side. I really like how this wall hanging looks. I am so thankful that God gives me a chance to start each day with a fresh new start. The failures of yesterday are gone.
My second project is a bookmark. I used the following:
I used the light and dark blue paints along with green and painted the bookmark. Then I stamped the scripture
This last project I wanted to share with you didn't use one of the new scripture stamps but used STAMPlorations Mini Mixed Media Backgrounds stamp. I used the paints from the other two projects on a rock. I then stamped the music notes randomly on the rock. I added some gold with some metallic gold rub. I then painted the rock with mod podge. I had a dear friend from college, who passed away last week. He was a fabulous musician and teacher. I wanted a way to honor his
life. I plan to place this rock at local park in memory of him.
.
I hope you will join us at the TYPOGRAPHIA in faith hop this Wednesday.
Commenting closes on Monday, September 18.
