Cracked Glass vintage card

I printed distressed script onto a sheet of white cardstock. I used black stazon to add butterflies, flowers and a pocket watch to each panel. Then I used distress ink to "color" the image. I used a die to cut out one of the butterflies. I did cracked glass technique to the panel.

This is how the cracked glass looked with brown ink in the cracks. I didn't think the cracks showed up very much.

My friend Pam said to use black ink. I was hesitant because I was afraid that I would mess it up, but I went ahead and tried it. Now you can see the cracks better.

Here is my finished card.

  1. What a beauty MariLynn - love the way you have let the cracked glass tag take the eye in the middle of the card. The panel you made to start with looks lovely too - I guess we will see more of it in future projects :-)
Blessings, and may the Lord bless your year with joy and peace
