For week 3 of Things with Wings Bloghop, I decided to make an altered CD. I used burned glue technique on the butterflies. I used black acrylic paint, rhinestones and pearls, gold metallic rub and black stazon ink.
Close up of one of the butterflies on the "music" side of the cd.
This is the opposite side of the CD. What it made me think of was the walls in a subway station. A grungy ironic backdrop for golden butterflies.
A close up of butterfly on "subway" side of CD.
