My dress for Sophia is not going to look like anyone else's because I made mine by masking and stamping components of the other outfits to make the wedding dress.
I stamped the short skirt first.
My dress for Sophia is not going to look like anyone else's because I made mine by masking and stamping components of the other outfits to make the wedding dress.
I stamped the short skirt first.
Then I stamped it on a post it note (in blue)
I cut out the post it note and covered the skirt.
I stamped the skirt again, but lowered it slightly.
Another skirt stamped on the post it note and cut out and put over second layer.
Then I stamped the long skirt over the post it note. I used the form fitting dress but cut away the collar to add the lacy one. I cut the skirt and dress out and covered them with cheese cloth. I added some embroidered flowers and pearls and a row of lace with flowers to the bottom. I made her hat and veil out of the embroidered flower and more cheese cloth. The background behind her reminded me of vintage wall paper. That is why I made it a wall and added the framed sentiments.
The sentimenst I hung on my card's "Wall" were from MFP set called SWANS
To frame the sentiments on the wall I used MFP set called ALL POSTAL
I made it an easel card to stand up. Since I put about 4 hours making the dress I think it should be displayed. I took some of the dp I used on the front and put that on the bottom of the easel and I punched the edge.
I think the dress looks like it could have been a wedding dress in the 1920's. What do you think?
