December STAMPlorations Mixed Media Challenge - Nativity triple tag

STAMPlorations Mixed Media Challenge

• You can link up as many projects as you want (1 project per blog post)

I die cut 3 tags using TAG O' COFFEE die

I die cut the Nativity scene using CHRISTMAS ICONS-NATIVITY die.

  I cut the die apart to give it more of an abstract look. I added glitter to the star.

and I used LEAVES 2 stencil with texture paste.

I finished the tags by adding a layer of cheesecloth and tying them together with twine.

 Once I had the tags where I wanted them I added adhesive to make them stay in place.

for the Coffee Cup. I added a die cut poinsettia cut out of mono printed paper. The panels are also mono printed. One one I embossed with clocks and rubbed with gold metallic rub.

My electric co-op  sent this card with my November bill. I really liked the teal cardstock and knew I would use it on a card.

The base of the card was a mono printed piece. I thought that the teal and gold would look good with the strips of the repurposed card. The little wooden cup was painted with teal and gold paint. I think the little glittery snowflakes finishes it an gives it an elegant feel.

I made the bottom tag using white cardstock and teal paint and my gelli plate. I then covered it with lace. The top tag was made with scraps from several mono printed projects. I tore the scraps and glued them to a piece of white cardstock. I then embossed and used gold metallic rub. The tea cups were cut out of scraps of mono printed projects. You can see the stencil I used on the bottom cup. I added a gold glitter snowflake.
