For my card I used another Mark's Finest Papers set called Be Virtuous.
I stamped and masked the leaves. I used the leaves as a guidline for cutting out the top of the card. I watercolored the leaves and added black marker for shading. I paper pieced the tiger using orange cardstock. I added white highlights with a prisma colored pencil. I added some pink colored pencil to his nose and ears. A flat card is very different from my usual card.

I saw this video the other day and it is adorable. I just had to share.

No paper... couldn't do it

Wow what a hard mix challenge today... no paper. We could have a paper base and that was it. I took some pink satin ribbon that was about 3 1/2 wide and painted it with white, cream and ivory paints. It took lots of coats of paint. That meant lots of drying time. Out of that ribbon I cut 2 little hearts. I covered the hearts with white school glue and used a heat gun to make the glue bubble and gave them a really cool texture. When they were cool, I took a copper pen and went around the edges. I took another length of the painted ribbon and put drywall tape over it. I then stamped music notes and piano keyboards on it. I also added a chipboard tag painted and stamped. I added burlap and ribbon. Then I cheated. I hope Lydia will not call me out on this, but I used paper in my quilled roses. I just couldn't help myself. The card just HAD to have them.

Glittery Grapes

This card is for two SCS challenges. The first one is the Mixability challenge MIX40 to use glitter and the second one is the Free for all challenge F4A193 to make a fall card using fruit. I this may not look too much like a fall card but you can harvest grapes in the fall. When my daughter was little we picked some grapes in the fall to make into jelly. It was probably the most expensive jelly I have ever eaten because we had to buy so much supplies to use our "free" grapes to make the jelly. I think it came down to about $20 a jar.
