For the last day of the hop I combined two of the sets and made a paper bag album. I added ribbons and twines to hold the pages together, The nice thing about paper bag albums is that the bags make pockets that you can put in photos or other keepsakes. I made this for a friend of mine who loves to garden.

Here is my card using this set. This card started as 1 sheet of white cardstock. I watercolored - resisted the background with splatters of colors and I stamped the flowers separately and water colored them with yellows. I added some funky green yarn and some pearls.

When I think of tulips I think of the Netherlands. My husband's family has a rich Dutch heritage, with some family still living in Holland. I wanted to make a wooden shoe card for my Father-in-law. I drew a wooden shoe and cut it out of brown cardstock. Then I stamped the tulips, masked the tulips and stamped some more and more till I had a huge collection. Then I watercolored them and cut them out and manipulated  and layered the paper so that there was dimension..

I learned how to say Happy Spring in Dutch....

My daughter is going to college in Pella Iowa.  That is a town that takes it's Dutch Heritage seriously. They plant so many tulips all over town. They have a festival in May called TULIP TIME.

 For my card I stamped the vegetables on cream cardstock and water colored them. My card opens up from the bottom. It is kind of a shortened card. The scripture sentiment in actually on the inside of the card.
