When I think of nutcrackers, a cute little guy like the one on my card isn't what comes to my mind. My mom's dad, Papa, had a pecan tree and he would gather, crack and shell the nuts from his tree. He didn't have time for cute. He had an industrial type that when he pulled a lever back it would send the weighted end crashing into the nut with a lot of force. Pecans have never tasted as good as those he cracked for us from his tree. Hard to think I have been without my Papa for 25 years. 
I found a little nutcraker charm to add to my card. I also thought that nutcracker needed some texture. I added the end of a q-tip for his beard and moustache.

    I think this is the cutest nutcracker with its big and beautiful moustache in his wonderful dress!!! Very eye catching approach, I just LOOOOVE this creation:)

    Marilynn, some awesome colors and the image is done up wonderfully! My favorite part is the bow you did with the mix of materials - super creative (love the little charm too - so perfect). Wonderfully done! Hugz!
