I have three fun projects to share with you.
My first project was an easel card. I started with this
dp that was sitting on my desk.
I stamped the sentiment added used tea bags, handmade roses, a branch and a die cut heart. I added glitter to the die cut heart as well as the stamped hearts. To finish it off I added three little pearls.
Here is the set I used for this first card.
For my second project, I made a cute little bookmark. My daughter is a librarian and I am always making her bookmarks that she can give away to students at her library. I was going for a
Kilroy look alike.
I used CUTplorations Tag 'O Coffee die and cut out a tag. I stamped the sentiment onto the tag. I then die cut a large circle and small circle. out of peach cardstock. I also cut a heart out.
I cut the small circle in half to make his hands. I used a pen to draw lines on the hands and to make his smile. Then I glued the giant wiggle eyes down to the circle. I also glued the hands and the big circle to the tag. I made it look like he was holding the heart too.
I placed the eyes at an uneven level so that his face would have more expression.
This is the stamp set I used for this bookmark.
And this is the die I used for this bookmark.
My last project was probably my favorite of the three to make.
For this card I only used white cardstock.
I used ARTplorations stencil called Delicate Leaves.
I used two different crayola markers to trace the stencil onto the white
cardstock. I then ink spray smashed the panel and splattered ink
and stamped on of the silhouetted butterflies from
STAMPlorations Trendy Butterflies with distress ink.
I also used a retired STAMPlorations set called mini mixed media backgrounds to add the music notes.
I then stamped the sentiment and that is when the fun began.
I took white acrylic paint and added highlights to the sentiment. You could use a white gel pen and probably get the same look. The white highlights make it look like I hand lettered when all I did was add a little bit of white. This really cool typografia sentiment makes it so easy to look like a lettering professional.
