Viva la verve January sketch cards

Well life for me has been crazy and busy. I had a chance to make these cards last week as my therapy with dealing with life, but didn't get them shared until now. Still before the Feb 1 deadline so all is good right? Here are my cards for the Viva La Verve sketch.

ARTplorations Stencil Sunday- Calendar

Stencil Sunday at STAMPlorations 

For my project, I wanted to step out of my comfort zone and use colors and designs that I don't usually use. I used some bright orange dp with white flowers on it. I don't usually stencil on top of dp, but again comfort zone. I used blue and light green paint and

I added white paint over the Overlap stenciled areas. I added gold glitter and I splattered the page with gold and white paint. I used the blue and green to go around the edges of the calendar page. I plan to keep this calendar in my craft room to remind me to step out of the comfort zone more often.

STAMPlorations January Mixed Media Challenge- Live with passion tag

Happy New Year. We are already a week into 2018. How many times have you had to write the date and cross it out? It is time for the first STAMPlorations mixed media challenge of the year 2018. 

We would love to have you join us by linking up a non-card mixed media project. The theme is always anything mixed media goes except a card and you must use at least one stencil (any brand) on your project. Linky closes at the end of the month.

Pardon my thumb in the photo. I had to hold the tag at an angle so I could photograph the subtle golden stenciled flower I used ARTplorations FLORAL FLUTES
