John 16:33 "These things I have spoken to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation, but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world."
Grace picked this wonderful, encouraging scripture this week for the Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge. I like to notice what this verse doesn't say. It doesn't say "IF" you have tribulation. Are you like me? There are times that I wish that being a Christian would mean that there would be no problems in my life. However, that isn't what we have been promised. It is enough to know that I can have peace because of Christ, and I can be of good cheer. He has overcome the world. Praise be to God.
The challenge this week from Grace is: create a card / project that either says "Blessings" or uses an encouraging Scripture.
My first thought went to this song by Laura Story.
‘Cause what if your blessings come through raindrops?
What if your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights are what it takes to know you’re here?
What if trials of this life are your mercies in disguise?
The sponsor this week is Pink Cat Studio.
