I am back with my second project for day 2 of the
I made this coffee mug layered tag with a porcelain paper butterfly.
I started by stamping the mug onto rose patterned paper.
I used STAMPlorations WINTER MUG
I colored the "gaps" on the cup with copper ink pen. I added highlights with white acrylic paint and I took a brown marker to color the "coffee" in the cup.
I stamped the mug 3 more times on white cardstock and glued all the layers together so that it has sturdiness.
I next stamped butterfly from
I colored and fussy cut the butterfly on the left. I stamped it 3 more times on white cardstock and 1 more time on black cardstock. I then flooded the top with Aleene's tacky glue. It took several hours to dry. So I had to be patient and drink several cups of coffee while I waited.
While I waited for it to dry, I used
to cut out some tags. One of white cardstock and one from the scraps left over from the cup.
I stamped sentiment on white cardstock using
The tags are layered on top of the mug. I punched a hole in the mug and tied all the tags to the mug with twine.
