Sometimes a camera doesn't do justice to a card. This is one of those times. The floral background was done doing embossed pounded flowers technique with clover and chicory flowers. I stitched the card together with a decorative scalloped stitch. The sentiment is a Mark's Finest Papers sentiment from the set Daffodil Greetings.
This is the inside of the card. I printed this scripture using my computer. You can see the back side of the scalloped stitching.
Hi Marilynn! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU SO MUCH for playing along at Word Art Wednesday and sharing this beautiful scripture card with us. I am SO BLESSED to see your lovely art and have you play along. I appreciate your participation, and hope you will join us each week. It means so much.
ReplyDeleteI'm working on a flag card so that I can play along at SSIC this week. I'm also going to be hosting a new challenge for Mark's Finest Papers at Speedy TV starting next week. Lots of exciting things happening, and I'm always blessed to see YOUR beautiful work. I hope you're having a very blessed week.
Hope to see more of you in the near future.

This looks great MariLynn - I know what you mean about the camera not doing justice to a card, but the imagination makes up for it. Love the blue from the chicory!!
ReplyDeleteLove the scripture you have included on the inside.
Blessings
