interlocking folded card
I was inspired by Sonia Seller's Cascade Card. I altered her idea to fit on a regular sheet of cardstock. I also put my card on a rectangle base to add stability. Here is my tutorial on how I made this card.
Marilynn: This card is beyond beautiful. You really did an amazing job on this-WOW! Thanks for linking it up in our challenge this week at Word Art Wednesday. We appreciate it, and hope you will play along again next week. Blessings, Karen L - Social Media Coordinator Word Art Wednesday karen-mycuprunnethover.blogspot.com
Wow - the true McGyver comes out on this one - I am not even sure I could open this one let alone make it. What a visual treat this is - I am impressed my friend!!!
Thanks for the video. I had to watch it 3 times before I saw the black print on the dark background telling where to make the dots to cut to and how to cut the pieces, but I finally saw it. Your card is beautiful!!! Can't wait to try this new fold!!
Now that I have done Sonja's I have to try this one!! Beautiful colors on the roses...It is very nice. Looks like a real garden patch - because of the uncut part in the middle. I have to laugh because at home here, they call me "McGyver" because I use what I have to "make do" !! The video is nicely done!!
Thank you for simplifying this fold card. Other videos I have watched made it look more complicated, yours was easy to follow. I really like the lace on your card, beautiful decorating.
I have never seen such a stunning card!! This is truly a fabulous work of art!! WOWOWOWOW

ReplyDeleteGood job of adjusting the original directions to an 8 1/2" x 11" piece of cardstock. Beautiful card, MariLynn.
