My friend Pam messaged me on facebook as soon as she saw what the color thow down was. She knew I would want to play because this is probably my most favorite of color combos. I combined it with the splitcoaststampers sketch challenge 585. I rotated the sketch. I had a scrap of faux barn wood that I made the other day that was supposed to be kind of a sage green color, it turned out being more turquoise, but it was so pretty I didn't want to throw it away. It was perfect for today. I added some gold metallic rub to the top. I made the rusty nails with a paper piercer, copper metallic rub, white glue and a black fine tipped sharpie marker. I have had these paper roses for several years, but always felt like they were just not right when I just placed them on my card. Today I got the idea to hot glue them to a piece of twine, to "anchor" them. I added floral filler . There is cheesecloth, gold sequins, and some fabulous ombre ribbon from my friend Terri.
