Day 2 of World water color month Delicious food

One of my favorite things about summer is the fruit. Today when I went to Aldis, the strawberries were $.99 a pint. So I bought several pints and I washed cored and froze them. Well I didn't freeze all of them. Of course I left some to be consumed this week. I put some in a bowl and took a photo of them to use as a reference for my painting today

Using a pencil I sketched the bowl and berries.

I want to share what I used to watercolor with. You don't need to spend money and have expensive watercolors to make art. Although I would love to have those. But saying you NEED those is an excuse. I used cheap markers

I scribbled onto my acetate folder and sprayed with water.

I hope I have inspired you and encouraged you to just create and don't let excuses of lack of supplies get in your way.

  1. What a great outcome on this painting MariLynn - and yes, we can make do with very little if we so choose, and your work over the past 30 days has inspired me to do better with what I have.
