Mustard Seed Faith Challenges the missing piece

No automatic alt text available.
This week for the Mustard seed faith challenge  the theme  joy.
I made this miniature canvas to celebrate God' story for my friends Ryan and Katie. With  4 boys the thought their family was complete. but there was a missing piece that they didn't even know was missing until God introduced Gabriella.
my friend made a video that went viral a few years ago.
but it can't compare to this new video Io know that she is going to add joy not only to my friends's family but she is already bringing joy to our church family.

STAMPlorations Stencil Sunday- Father's day tag

Last week I shared a project and said that I used an unusual product for my project. I said I would share more of them and then reveal what it was. Well, migraines side tracked my original idea. So I am sharing another project, using the same unusual product. I had one guess that it was a toilet paper roll, and that was correct. I opened an empty toilet paper roll. I used curve play stencil and blue spray on the tp roll opened up. Then I die cut it using tag die. Then I embossed it. I then added some silver fingernail polish. I stamped the ship 5 times and I did paper tole on the sails.

Happy Father's Day to my Grandpa, Dad, Father in law, Husband and Son in Law. Thank you for being amazing Dads.

PIP 1724 flag day

PIP 1724, wow, this year is just flying by. Can't believe that it is almost flag day again.
Our sponsor this week is MHK designs.

I used their fabulous flag image to make a card that could be used for a variety of occasions, Flag day, Memorial day, Fourth of July, Veteran's day.... since I don't know which I will use it for, I left a blank spot on the bottom of the easel part of my card. I used something on my card, that most card makers don't use.. Do you know what it is? I am going to try and post cards all this week using the same product. I will reveal on Friday what is was.

Mustard Seed Faith Challenges - His eye is on the Sparrow

Join us at MUSTARD SEED FAITH CHALLENGES. The devotion this week is about not worrying.

His eye is on the sparrow and I know He watches me. I think there is a direct link between faith and not worrying. If our faith is strong, our worries are small or aren't even there. But if we let worries come into our minds, our faith is weak. When Peter was walking on the water to Jesus, his faith was strong and he didn't even notice the storm. He was actually walking on the water towards Jesus. However,  Peter started worrying about the what if's... what if I stop being able to walk on this water... what will happen if the storm and the water overtakes me.... what if I drown... what if Jesus can't save me in time... what if... what if... what if, and then his faith faltered because of the worries. Thing is none of the "what ifs" that might have come from him walking on the water actually happened. That seems to happen to me a lot. The things that worry me seldom happen. So why do I still have worries? I like the acrostic that says fear is FALSE EVIDIENCE APPEARING REAL. Worries and fears are opportunities to test my faith and make it stronger. Every time I take a worry and give it over to God to let Him handle, I see how faithful He is. I see how He takes care of me. Someday I hope I reach a place where my faith is strong enough to say that I never worry about anything. I am a work in progress and I believe that I will get there.

Mixed Media Butterflies and painted florals

Another Mojo Monday 500 sketch card. It is also for Frilly and Funky challenge blog

The Frilly and Funky challenge was to share inspiration of our project. I was inspired by a tag  by ARTFUL EVIDENCE. You can see that tag HERE

What inspired me with the tag was the teal color and the gold and white paint splatters as well as the butterfly.

mojo 500 sketch

Wow, 500 Mojo Monday Sketches. I wish I could say I was there at the very beginning, but I was pretty close to it. I have enjoyed looking at the sketch each Monday. If I ever had a creative block, I would go and look at old sketches to inspire my creativity. I am going to miss these challenges but I will Julee the very best. I know the decision to quit must have been hard but putting her family first is always the RIGHT decision. Thanks Julee for all you have done and thanks to your amazing designers for their weekly inspiration.
