Flowers on the Wall bring butterflies.

Today's Mix-ABILITY challenge is to be inspired by wallpaper. MIX172
While, my wallpaper card wasn't inspired by any specific wallpaper, I was thinking repeating squares and I was also thinking about this old song .
I stamped the butterfly on a piece of kraft cardstock. I masked it and stamped an old SU little frame stamp. I didn't draw lines, or measure to make them line up. I wanted them to be a little random. But hey since we were thinking about wallpaper, I pulled out some drywall tape. I masked the butterfly and rubbed gold metallic rub over the the tape.

This photo shows the metallic rub
I put the mask down again and stamped a little flower from  Lizzie Anne Funky Floral set. I stamped the flower in all the squares.

To color my butterfly I used 4 different colors of blue crayola markers that I scribbled onto an acetate folder. I sprayed the scribbles and water colored the butterfly starting from lightest blue to darkest blue.
When done with the blues, I went over the top with a thin coat of the metallic rub to make the butterfly shimmer.
On the back of the card. I drew two lines with a ruler and a black ink pen. I stamped the "post card" sentiment from MFP set called ALL POSTAL.
I added dots of glue and glitter to the centers of the flowers. I also painted with the metallic rub on the petals of the flowers. I stamped one little "HELLO"from the Funky Floral set to finish the card.
