Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Here is my second card for the

I had a lot of fun making this card. When I started the only non white part was the piece of tan cardstock. The rest of my card started out with white cardstock. I ink spray smashed the background. I sprayed with gold shimmer spray. Then I stamped MFP-AUTUMN GLORY stamp with versamark and heat embossed gold embossing powder. Then I watercolored the leaves. I did the same thing with the coffee cups. They are from MFP-OH BEANS stamp set. I really like how this card turned out. As I was making it I was thinking about the last time my daughter and I went out for coffee. We met a friend from church and we went to the local coffee shop, where they had coconut creme pie that had just come out of the oven. That just somehow made that coffee taste all the better.

  16. Oh my gosh, where to start?! My grandma always said let's get dessert - it will make our coffee taste better. I always thought it was so funny, but yes so true! And what is better tasting than coffee AND hot fresh coconut pie! Oh my! I truly love this inky background with the gold leaves as the basis for your stamped cups. SO pretty!
