You will look at my card and you might be shaking your head trying to figure out how my card used  the set CREATE WITH PINE BOUGHS. Well if you look closely you will see the ornament from the set. It is my magnifying glass. How did I come up with this card? Well, I had the set sitting on my desk and it was upside down and when I looked at it I saw the magnifying glass. I thought that the magnifying glass would look great for the spotlight technique. I used the flower from MFP -FLOWER BLOCKS set and the little bee is  from MFP- BRING ON THE SUN set. The sentiment is from MFP-GLAD GLADS set.

I made a swing card using the cardinal image. I watercolored the cardinal to give it some shading. I had wanted to make a cardinal baseball card because my family is baseball fans. We were kinda sad when they got lost to San Francisco. Maybe next year.

l stamped the chicken on white cardstock. I knew I wanted to have some red with it. I found some polka dotted red  dp.  I took some red cardstock that was fairly close in hue. I did faux barn board with some cream paint. I decopaged the encyclopedia and polka dotted dp to the barn board. I stamped the little heart in the corners. I got to use my new spellbinders gift from my friend Helen. Thank you Helen. I finished it out with lace, buttons and a little ribbon bow. I loved how this turned out.
