Development of a card

Yesterday I started a card. It was for the SCS TLC449 to do a faux white wash. I was trying to combine it with MOJO313. It should have been a fairly simple and easy card to make, but it wasn't. I liked the look of the circle card and I thought it would be fun to make an accordion card. I got the front done and then added the "GET WELL SOON" sentiment and punched daisies to match the daisies on the front.

I really didn't like how the punched daisies looked with the front of the card.
Fortunately Accordion cards are easy to disassemble. I added another white washed flower,
a black eyed susan and I added a golden daisy dp. The card should be done now right? Well it still felt like something was missing. .

That is when I took a look at the SCS CC446. I noticed that I had the colors on my card except for the Cajun Craze. So I added my butterfly painted as close to that color that I could.
Finally my card was done and I liked it.
I didn't get the dessert because I didn't have a bow, but I did use ribbon, so maybe that was a light dessert...less calories.

  1. Nope. Sorry. Don't know what you mean about an ugly card. But I admit I love the second daisy! Either way, WAY-TO-GO!

  2. MariLynn this is fabulous - I liked both versions, but can see why you prefer the second one.
