Linda choose this scripture for this week's Stampin' Sisters in Christ Challenge.

Lam 3:22 -23 The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is His faithfulness; His mercies begin afresh each morning

Don't you just love NEW things? NEW car smell, NEW hairstyle, NEW clothes... How about new craft supplies? I do. I love getting new things, but after awhile they aren't new anymore. NEW babies grow up to be teenagers. NEW cars get old. NEW clothes go out of fashion. The amazing thing about this passage that Linda choose is that God's mercies are new every morning. His love, his compassion, his care for us doesn't get old.

Thank you God for renewing your mercies to me every day!!!

Clear Dollar Stamps is our wonderful sponsor this week.

Here is Linda's Challenge:

Dig deep into your craft cupboard and use something from your stash that you 'just had to have' cause you would use it everyday....but have forgotten about...

I struggled with this challenge because, I don't have a lot from my stash that I just had to have... I have been on a very limited craft budget, so I usually only buy what I will use. I ended up choosing to use this dp. I was going to make a card using my craft chalks, then after several attempts, I remembered why I don't use them much anymore. I had two cards done and smeared the chalk... This flower is from a set that will be released this week during the Mark's Finest Papers blog hop. It is called BLACK EYED SUSANS FOR ENCOURAGEMENT.

  1. MariLynn I love Sunday evenings and visiting your blog!
As ever your thoughts and card are a joy to consider.
A hint when using chalks - when I have finished the project, and hopefully before I manage to smear anything, I give the project a quick blat of hairspray - a cheap and effective 'fixative' :-)
    Blessings

  5. Well this turned out beautiful Marilynn! Sometimes the DP is so pretty you can't cut it up... just let it do the talking :) And thank GOD his love, mercies, care never gets old! There are many "stale religions" out there, but ours isn't one of them. A relationship with Christ Jesus is like bread and water--can't live very long without it!! Hope you have a wonderful week ahead.
