Quilled Snowflake Thank You Card

The free for all challenge at Splitcoast was to make a card to have on hand to thank a hostess who is especially generous to you. I made this for my senior pastor's wife, Ethel. She works so hard each year to host our annual Thanksgiving meal at the church's fellowship hall. She spends hours decorating, planning, cooking and cleaning up afterwards. She has such a servant's heart and doesn't do this for man's praise or thanks, but she definitely deserves to be thanked! I used the sentiment stamp from Mark's Finest Papers - THANKFUL MUMS AND PUMPKINS set. I stamped it randomly on a piece of dp that I got several years ago from the dollar store. I zig zag stitched the panels to the card. The ornament is attached by a piece of thread that is taped to the back of the top 2 panels. It can easily be removed.

  3. I just love your card, the quilled snowflake is really beautiful! You've inspired me to pick up my quilling tool again and make the time to do some quilling. Thanks for your comment on my card, I was saddened to hear about the theft of those boxes for Operation Christmas Child, that really is awful! Some people must have no conscience!
